Another beauty Dave, you definitely have an eye for detail...love the freckles on the middle girl! You have me thinking I need to start adding more texture to my skins to make them more realistic. Very inspiring work my friend!

Hi David, just enjoyed having a look thru your gallery, I like this piece in particular.
Skintones and shading are excellent but I can't help thinking the hair looks rushed. It seems a shame after the time you have spent getting the other details so correct.

i do agree that in the scan the hair does look a little rushed. in real life it looks much better, the scanner has a habit of picking up all the little indentations and pencil strokes hence making it look less 'blended'. although the girls hair on the far left could have done with some more development, but I would have missed the deadline.

thanks for looking through my gallery, and for the comments.

I totally agree about scanning, David, I am never happy with my scans no matter what I try.
Look forward to seeing more of your work.

I have a question :) what is electric eraser?

something a bit like this.

basically you slot a little eraser in the end, press a button and it spins round really fast. you can erase it to a point and use it to create sharp edges or erase really small areas.

it's the first time I hear about it. It's exactly what I need!!! But I know we don't have them in here. We don't even have eraser pencils. I had to order from eBay. I will see if they sell this on eBay as well. Thank you very much
